1. What is Albina Community Bank’s Internet or Online Banking?
Internet/Online Banking is one of the fastest, most convenient ways to access your Albina Community Bank accounts, view balances, transfer funds and pay your bills online. Using your unique Customer ID and password, you can perform banking transactions online, whenever and wherever you want, from any PC with internet access. It’s safe and convenient!
2. What banking transactions can I perform with Albina Community Bank’s Internet Banking and/or Online Bill Payment?
Albina Community Bank’s Internet Banking allows you to make transactions and manage your accounts, balances, and deposits online. Our Online Bill Payment service enables you to pay your bills online – to virtually anyone in the United States.
Here are a few features you’ll find with Albina’s Online Banking and/or Online Bill Payment services:
- View balances and transactions on your accounts
- Transfer funds between your Albina accounts
- View check images online
- Request a stop payment for an Albina check
- Pay bills to virtually anyone in the United States
- View credit card balances on your Albina credit card and make online payments
Albina’s Online Banking is also a great way to make a payment to your Albina loan account. Simply transfer funds from your deposit account to the Albina loan account(s) you wish to pay. It’s easy and ensures fast payment!
3. Are there fees for Albina Community Bank’s Online Banking services?
Albina Community Bank’s Personal / Small Business Online Banking is FREE for all Albina customers. There are fees associated with our Business Online Banking / Cash Management services products that vary based on the services you use. Please call your Albina banker for more information.
4. What do I need to start using Personal Online Banking?
All you need to start using Albina’s Personal Online Banking is an Albina account and a PC/MAC with internet access. In a continued effort to safeguard online banking transactions, Albina requires full 128-bit encryption for Personal Online Banking use. The following are supported browsers that offer this highest level of encryption:
- Internet Explorer – Versions 5.5+
- Netscape – Versions 7.1 and 7.2+
- Safari – Version2 1.2+
- Mozilla/Firefox – Versions 1.0 and 2.0+
If you use an older browser that supports 128-bit encryption, it is recommended that you upgrade to one of the supported browsers listed above. If your browser does not support 128-bit encryption, you will need to download the latest version in order to use Albina’s Personal Online Banking. There is no special software needed to access Online Banking. Once you sign-up, you will be able to access Online Banking anytime from our website at www.albinabank.com. Please note that when using Bill Payment services, some MAC systems will not function correctly. Please call your nearest Albina office if you are experiencing trouble.
5. What information is required when I register for Personal Online Banking?
For First-Time Users, you will need:
- Your Albina account number
- The last four digits of your Social Security Number or Telebanc (24-hour VRU) password
- The date of your last deposit
6. Is Albina’s Online Banking available to businesses?
Whether your business is small and still growing, medium or large, we’re proud to offer an online banking solution for your business needs. Albina’s Personal/Small Business Banking Online Banking is available to small businesses. Albina’s Business Online Banking and Cash Management services is also available for larger businesses who require more robust online banking capabilities.
7. What is Albina’s Bill Payment service?
Utilities, credit card, loan accounts, car payments, monthly bills and subscriptions – you can pay bills or make other payments from Albina Online Bill Payment service to anywhere in the United States. It’s up to you. Albina’s Online Bill Payment service allows you to select the date a bill should be paid and how much should be paid. We recommend that you schedule your Albina bill payments at least 5-7 business days before a payment is due to avoid late charges.
Enjoy two months of Free Online Bill Payment Services for Personal and Business Bill Payment Services. After this introduction period, there is a $5.95 monthly fee for Personal Bill Payment Services, or choose Albina’s Community Plus Checking Account to receive this service for free. Small Business Online Banking is $9.95 per month.

9. How safe and secure is Albina Community Bank’s Online Banking services?
Albina Community Bank takes every precaution to keep your online banking experience safe and secure. In a continued effort to safeguard online banking transactions, Albina requires full 128-bit encryption for Personal Online Banking use. Encryption is a process that transforms sensitive information into a string of unrecognizable characters before they are sent over the internet and helps keep information private between the bank’s computer system and your internet browser. The safety and security of your information is also protected by Multi-Factor Authentication, a process that allows you to select a unique image and phrase as well as password to authenticate your access each time you use the service.
10. Does Albina Community Bank’s Online Banking Interact with Microsoft® Money or Quicken?
Yes, Albina’s Online Banking allows you to use your MS Money and Quicken software for up to 45 days worth of transactions. Note: MS Money 2002 and Quicken 2002 versions are no longer supported through Albina’s Online Banking service.)
11. Did you forget your Online Banking password?
If you have forgotten your Albina Online Banking password, please call your nearest Albina office to reset your password. You will need to provide certain identifying information so that we can ensure the safety and security of your confidential information.

12. What is the difference between my Current Balance and Available Balance?
The Current Balance is the amount of money you have in your account not including pending items that have not cleared and less any amount that is on hold. The Available Balance is the actual amount you have in your account that is available for your use and is the full amount that you can withdraw from your account. If you have a hold on your account, funds are not available for any kind of withdrawal (including VISA check card purchases and check clearing.)
13. Which accounts can I access online?
You can access all of your Albina accounts, including checking, savings, credit card and loans.
14. Can the joint owner on my account use Online Banking?
Yes, joint owners can access the account in the same way that you can as the primary owner.
15. Do I need any special software to use Online Banking?
No, you just need the software that you would normally use to access the World Wide Web, including a web browser. There are no special disks or software required.
16. What should I do if I suspect fraud on my account?
If you suspect fraud on your account, immediately contact Albina. If the suspected fraud involves your VISA check or credit card, you may block the card at any time by calling 1-800-992-5086 and following the prompts for reporting a lost or stolen card. For follow-up purposes, you can call or visit an Albina office during regular business hours to complete the report.
